Victoria, owner of Total Balance Therapy, and co-owner of The Studio Crossville is a passionate and driven healthcare provider with a special interest in women’s health physical therapy. After working for several years in a variety of physical therapy settings, she decided that she could best serve her patients in an environment that values one-on-one patient care and promotes wellness and fitness that extends beyond clinical practice.
Prior to clinical practice, Victoria graduated with honors from The University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017 and was trained through Balanced Body in reformer Pilates in 2014. She completed her comprehensive Pilates training in 2021 under her mentor Jacy Miller. She has received post-doctorate clinical education in physical therapy for pelvic floor and obstetrics through the American Physical Therapy Association and is pursuing the Women’s Health Clinical Specialist board certification. Her background of ballet taught her discipline, creativity, and the importance of balance, both on and off the dance floor.
When she isn’t providing care to her patients and clients, Victoria can be found exploring Tennessee with her husband Russell, owner of Campbell Pest Solutions, and daughters Alaina and Aubrey and son Sullivan, playing with the family animals Greta, Biscuit, Samantha, and Midnight, or riding her horses, George, Rio, and Tennessee.
Ashley Ruder is originally from Illinois and traveled the country for 3 years before finding her true love of the South when she moved to Crossville in 2016. With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, she realized during her own pregnancy that there are many aspects of women’s health and fitness that are missing from most programs. She has been involved in Body Building, Weight Lifting, Crossfit, and Yoga and became a Women’s Coaching Specialist and Pre-Natal & Postpartum Coach through Girls Gone Strong in 2023. She has also received Pilates Mat and Reformer training through Balanced Body and continuing education through International Sports Sciences Association for nutrition and corrective exercise.
She finds her passion in teaching women how to move their bodies during pregnancy and properly recover after child birth. “The Pilates world has opened up so much awareness into my own body (who knew I was breathing wrong this whole time?!) and the strength I’ve experienced within my own body is something I want to continue sharing with others.”
When she is not teaching or taking an exercise class, she loves spending time outdoors with family, traveling, drawing, crafting, and learning anything new! She believes that every day is a new blessing.
